This is a very popular restaurant in Nashville Farmer’s Market due to their appearance in Food Network’s show Diners, Dine-in and Dives hosted by Guy Fieri. We went around Friday noon and saw a lot of visitors in line to get their dishes. It is mainly a takeout spot with dining area available in the common hall. The menu has a lot of small dish and appetizer items. The has chicken, meat/fish and vegetarian options that also comes with 2 sides. There are about 13 different sides available to pick from. Entrees come in 2 sizes, lunch and dinner, the latter being more pricey. Meat/fish entrees are much higher price but rest of the menu has reasonable price. We ordered the oxtails with beans and curry goat with mac n cheese. It took them about 7-8 minutes to have the order ready. Oxtail was so delicious, the flavor and seasoning all came together so well. I didn’t like the goat curry as much. The meat seemed like lamb. Also the curry smell/flavor was too strong. But all the side dishes were good. Overall it is a decent place to try out some Caribbean food.

Every time I'm in Nashville, this place is a must stop. The friendly smiles of the staff, the huge portions of food and a great price point for the quality of food. This restaurant is in the food court which means while eating this delicious food, people watching is entertaining. Stop by this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

So many delicious options!!! We tried the spinach and cheese patties, which were perfectly filled and seasoned with a delicious light and flaky crust, and the spicy jerk tofu with collard greens and plantains. The spice level way perfect and the peppery, rich gravy was so delicious with perfect tofu patties, peppers and onions. All the veggies were meat free and it was so hard to pick just two, but the greens were delicious and the plantains provided a nice sweet treat to end our meal.

It's true, I checked it out because the FoodNetwork did, but while standing in line at the Nashville Farmer's Market, a local convinced me I had made the right choice. Staff member Gina let me taste one of the Vegan entrees and that nailed it down. I had the BBQ "Chikn", Yellow Rice and Collard Greens, which were so tender and seasoned just right! I added a bag of Plantain Crisps and water. Because I was wearing a "Roll Academy" apron from a local food workshop vendor, I received a nice discount on my purchase! It was a first for me to taste Jamaican cuisine. A great experience!

There aren’t too many Jamaican restaurants with excellent food and amazing customer service - this place has both. They have a straightforward menu displayed on a board for customers to choose from. The servers are helpful, polite and friendly. It is located in the food center so the environment is neat and tidy with enough guest parking. The table seemed a bit high when I sat down to eat but I didn’t care as much because of the flavorful meal. Recommended.

The restaurant was showcased in Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives by Guy Fieri. I was super excited to try it. I got oxtails and veggies. It’s a big portion and fulfilling. The oxtails were flavorful and tender. Easily pulled apart. Veggie was ok. There are many other proteins and side to choose. The line moves quick. There are many tables/seats in the food court. Overall a good place for Jamaica food.

My food was so so so delicious. I ordered the oxtails with cabbage and plantain no carbs lol. My oxtails feel off the bone and was able to easily get off with a fork. Make sure you try a Johnny cake and dip it in your gravy. Mmmmmmmmm
